Captain & Crew Provided?
Yes, a USCG Licensed Captain and Crew member is provided in the charter cost (excluding tip). Whilst we recommend the use of our approved captains, as a legal bareboat charterer you are entitled to choose any captain you wish for the duration of your charter. It does not have to be one of our approved captains, however a sea trail is required prior.
What is the Charter Contract?
Charter contract will be emailed via DROPBOX 10 days before departure. E-submitted/signed no later than 48 hours before the departure date. Instructions are provided; read carefully. Please complete to the best of your knowledge-This will save time at boarding. The Manifest and bareboat contract is required by the US Coast Guard. There are no additional fees (excluding tip) Takes a few minutes to fill out.
What is the E-Waiver?
See the Passenger Waiver link on this website - share with all your guests and have E-sign before departure time. Being a legally authorized California charter company, Adventure Cruises San Diego is required by law to comply with these document requirements.
Where Do I Meet the Boat

What Time Should I Arrive?
We recommend arriving 20 minutes EARLY. TEXT the Captain when ALL your party is gathered at GATE 1 he will come to MEET you and escort your party to the YACHT. There may be another party disembarking, so we appreciate your patience while our crew cleans thoroughly before boarding. We will board once your entire party arrives and the boat is ready. If the boat and crew are running LATE, rest assured you will get your full time.
What About Parking?
There are gated paid parking lots located directly around Sunroad Resort Marina 955 Harbor Island Drive, San Diego, CA 92101. Enter the driveway before the marina building.
· If arriving with an Uber or Lyft have them drop you off in 1st driveway that is chained off- walk straight back to GATE 1
· If you are driving pull up to the gate and insert your credit card (this will be your ticket) then use the same credit card to leave.
· There is a parking lot past the roundabout "for restaurants" with free parking. If you park in the restaurant parking lot, please walk along the sidewalks.
What Shoes Should I Wear?
Soft-soled shoes i.e.: Tennis shoes, boat shoes, sneakers, sandals, flip flops etc. it is also recommended to remove your shoes and socks to avoid slipping on the boat decks. IF ANYONE IN YOUR GROUP WEARS ANY TYPE HIGH HEEL SHOES YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BOARD UNTIL THEY REMOVE THEM!
What If My Party Is Late?
Your onboard time BEGINS and ENDS according to your booking itinerary times… not when you arrive.
Can We Extend Our Cruise?
Let the Captain or Crew know, and we will see if that can be arranged based upon the availability of the vessel.

Can We Bring Alcohol & Food Aboard the Boat?
Yes, you are welcome to bring and drink whatever you like. (21 yr + alcohol consumption) There is an ice chest w/ice provided on the boat, so you do not need to bring one, there is also a full-size Refrigerator/Freezer and microwave for you to use. (Transfer your drinks from your ice chest into bags or boxes, and then you can put them in the onboard ice chest or refrigerator.
Can We Board Early to Decorate?
Decorating and clean-up of decorations must be done during your scheduled rental time.
What Ages Are Allowed On the yacht?
Guests of ALL ages are welcome. We ask that you make sure the guest is comfortable walking on a moving boat, can stabilize themselves and navigating around a boat. Infants and small children will need to wear life jackets. If anyone has a tendency to get motion sick or seasick, please be sure to take something ahead of time.
Is the yacht Dog-Friendly?
While we love our pups, it is not appropriate to have them aboard while underway for safety and cleanliness. Out of respect to ALL guests, we ask that you leave your furry friend at home
Can We Smoke Aboard?
Yes. Outside lower rear deck only and use ashtrays please. You may vape outside responsibly. However, you are responsible for any damage caused by smoking!
What About Weed?
Since we will be on federal waters and marijuana is not federally legal. The Coast Guard does random safety checks and can board us at any time.
How Many People Can We Have in Our Group?
13 as per US Coast Guard and Port of San Diego regulations. The USCG strictly prohibits us from carrying more.

What Activities & Tours Are There?
A USCG Licensed Captain and Deckhand will be taking care of you and your guests.
· Cruise San Diego Bay!
· Tour Downtown San Diego & Embarcadero Park, USS Midway, Rady Shell Amphitheater, & Pass through the arches of the Coronado Bridge!
· Drop Anchor at Glorietta Bay, Party at Sea, use the lily pad & Swim! (3+ hours required)
· And of course at anytime… Dance, Sing, Lay out, watch for marine life & Enjoy libations!
Can we anchor and swim with a 2 hour cruise?
Sorry, No the required time it takes to drop/pull anchor and set up for swimming requires a minimum of a 3-hr. cruise
Can we use another Marina or Dock?
No, the utilization of Port public facilities such as boat launches, and public docks is strictly prohibited for all charter activities. This encompasses the following:
A Charter operating from these locations is most likely illegal and unsafe.
Can we be dropped off at Bali Hai Restaurant dock?
Yes, if you are dining or drinking at the restaurant. However, dock space is very limited and not guaranteed. Travel time is deducted from your charter time so the yacht can return back to the original departure location. (35mins) If no dock space the charter party will return to the original departure location. *Recommended to add 30mins additional when booking
What supplies are included?
Audio System, Ice, Cups, Plates, Utensils, Bottled Water, Karaoke & Cooler. We also have a HUGE lily pad for Charters 3+ hours or longer.
Can we BBQ?
Optional Upgrade -Grill your veggies and meats while you are anchored- Our crew will help set up/breakdown for you and your party and assist with watching the grill. Available upon request with a $100 add-on fee. Minimum 4hr Charter required
Can I see the yacht before departure?
There is a $50 fee due before viewing. A Captain or crew member needs to be present to give you a tour.
Excessive Messes & Toilets?
There is a $250 cleaning fee for excessive messes or clogged toilets. Boat Plumbing is SENSITIVE. Please discard all non-toilet paper/tissues in the bathroom trash can. Our crew will also remind you during the boarding safety brief. If you have a spill let the crew know ASAP! There are also towels located around the boat to clean up spills.
Cancellation Policy?
Cancellations more than 15 days from the departure date, 50% refunded of the Total Rental (minus transaction fee). Cancellations less than 14 days from departure date, no refunds. If a charter is canceled due to unsafe weather, Charterer may reschedule.
